Shipping FAQs

  • Unfortunately, we don’t offer international shipping at this stage. Our deliveries are limited to Australia. The good news is we’re working on making Formula Products available worldwide soon. Stay tuned!

  • Standard shipping typically takes 3–7 business days, depending on your location. All orders are shipped via Australia Post. Since we’re based in New South Wales, deliveries within the state usually arrive in 2–4 business days, while interstate shipping may take 3–6 business days.

  • Shipping costs vary depending on the items in your order:

    • PPF Film Rolls – Due to their size and weight, shipping is calculated at checkout based on your location and courier rates.

    • Aftercare Products & Accessories – Standard shipping is a flat rate of $8.99 Australia-wide, with free express shipping on orders over $250.

  • We provide complimentary express shipping on all orders over $250. For orders below this amount, standard shipping is only available.

  • Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with your tracking number and a link to the courier’s website, where you can monitor the progress of your delivery.

  • If you notice an error in your shipping address, please contact us immediately. We can update the address if your order has not yet been shipped. However, once an order has been dispatched, no further changes can be made.

    If the address provided is incorrect and the parcel cannot be delivered, it may either be returned to us or held at your local post office, depending on the courier’s policy.

  • Once a parcel has been marked as “delivered” by the courier, responsibility for the package transfers to the recipient. We are not liable for lost or stolen parcels after delivery has been confirmed. If your parcel is missing, please first check with your household members, neighbors, or local post office. If still not located, you may lodge a missing parcel investigation directly with the courier. Where possible, we will assist by providing tracking and order details to support your claim.

  • Orders may only be cancelled or changed if they have not yet been processed or shipped.
    Please contact us immediately if you wish to make a change, and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Once an order has been dispatched, we are unable to make any changes or cancellations. If you no longer require the item, please refer to our Returns Policy for next steps.

  • Yes, our products are safe and effective for a wide range of vehicles - not just those with PPF wraps. For optimal results, always follow the usage instructions on the label.

  • Yes, you can wash your car normally once PPF has been installed. For best results, we recommend:

    • Waiting at least 7 days after installation before your first wash.

    • Using a pH-neutral shampoo and a microfiber wash mitt.

    • Avoiding abrasive brushes, harsh chemicals, and high-pressure water directly on film edges.

    • Touchless car washes are safe, but brush-style automatic washes should be avoided.

    Important: While you can use general car shampoos, many are not designed with PPF in mind and may contain harsh ingredients that reduce the film’s lifespan or gloss. That’s why we recommend using our Formula Solutions PPF Aftercare products, which are specifically developed to be safe on PPF and protect your film’s finish.

  • Each product features a QR code on the bottle that you can scan with your phone to access a step-by-step video guide. You can also visit our website for detailed instructions, videos, and additional care tips.

  • Store products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Always ensure lids are tightly closed to maintain product quality.

  • PPF installation requires skill, the right tools, and experience to achieve the best results. We always recommend professional installation for full coverage. However, if you’re just starting out in your garage or want to learn the trade, PPF can be installed with practice and patience on smaller panels. Using the correct products and techniques is key and our films are designed to support both professional shops and those beginning their PPF journey.

  • Yes, all of our films are backed by a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty against yellowing, cracking, and peeling.

    The warranty applies to the product itself and does not cover installation workmanship — any issues such as lifting, bubbling, or misalignment are the responsibility of the installer. To get the best results and ensure your film performs as intended, we recommend professional installation and proper aftercare.

  • With proper care and maintenance, our PPF is designed to last up to 10 years, protecting your vehicle’s finish from stone chips, scratches, and UV damage. Lifespan can vary depending on driving conditions, exposure to the elements, and aftercare. Your installer should advise you on the correct aftercare routine, and we always recommend using PPF-safe products such as the Formula Solutions Aftercare range to ensure maximum durability and performance.

  • No — our films are designed to be low maintenance. Each film features a built-in ceramic coating for gloss, hydrophobic performance, and easy cleaning, along with a self-healing top layer that naturally removes light scratches and swirl marks with heat. You don’t need to apply additional waxes, polishes, or coatings. However, if you’d like to further enhance the hydrophobic effect, we recommend our Formula Solutions Ceramic Shampoo, specifically developed to safely boost water repellency on PPF.

Return and refund policy

    • Unused products can be returned within 30 days of purchase for a full refund or exchange.

    • Products must be returned in their original packaging and in resaleable condition.

    • Contact our customer support team via email or through our website contact form.

    • Include your order number, a brief description of the issue, and photos.

    • Our team will provide instructions for returning the product or arranging a replacement.

    • If your product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact our support team immediately with your order number and photos of the item.

    • We will promptly arrange a replacement for products that meet the return criteria.

      To be eligible for a replacement, products must meet the following conditions:

      1. Unused & Unopened: The product must be unused and in its original, sealed packaging.

      2. Within 30 Days: Returns must be requested within 30 days of the purchase date.

      3. Proof of Purchase: A valid order number or receipt is required.

      4. Damaged or Faulty Items: For products that arrive damaged or faulty, please provide photos of the issue when contacting our support team.

      Products that do not meet these criteria may not be eligible for a replacement.

  • Once your return is received and approved, we will process your refund within 2–3 business days. The refund will be issued back to your original payment method, and depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional 5–10 business days for the funds to appear in your account.

  • Yes, customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is damaged or defective.

  • To be eligible for a return, PPF products must meet the following conditions:

    • The film must be unused, unopened, and in its original packaging.

    • The product must be returned in the same condition that you received it, free from damage, cuts, or alterations.

    • Returns must be requested within 7 days of delivery.

    • Proof of purchase is required (e.g. order confirmation or receipt).

    • Shipping costs are non-refundable, and return shipping is the responsibility of the customer unless the item was faulty or damaged on arrival.

  • We understand that some defects in PPF film may only become visible after installation. In the event you believe your film is faulty, please contact us immediately with clear photos and details of the issue. All claims for defects are assessed on a case-by-case basis. If the product is confirmed to be faulty, we will provide a replacement or refund in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

    Please note that we cannot cover any costs related to installation, removal, or labour. Our responsibility is limited to the replacement of the product itself.
